This hand-crocheted amigurumi toy is our second Hooked and Loopy interpretation of amazing artist Frida Kahlo. This doll is inspired by Frida Kahlo’s Self Portrait Along the Border Line Between Mexico and the United States, 1932.

Shorter than the original - about eight inches. But enough attitude for life-sized fun.

About the yarn:

I use 100% cotton yarn to make Frida Kahlo. (The flowers in her hair are 100% polyester, embroidered into the bun so you don't have to worry about them coming off.)

About the eyes:

The eyes are embroidered.

About the stuffing:

I use 100% cotton stuffing for this doll.

Can I wash the creatures?

YES! The paper flowers in this doll’s hair will do better if you spot wash her, or you can remove them and put her right in the washing machine. I recommend that you let Frida Kahlo air dry rather than put her in the dryer.
